Who We Are
SocialSave Pro was founded in 2024 by a small team of developers and content creators who shared a common frustration: the social media platforms where they published their work made it surprisingly difficult to retrieve that same work in its original quality. After struggling to recover his own Reels following an Instagram account glitch that temporarily locked him out, our founder Alex Rivera spent a weekend building the first version of what would become SocialSave Pro. What started as a personal tool quickly became something thousands of creators were asking for.
Today, SocialSave Pro serves creators, marketers, educators, and everyday users across more than 40 countries. We are a fully remote team — working across time zones and bringing together expertise in web infrastructure, video technology, content strategy, and user experience design. We are not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., YouTube, or Google LLC. We are an independent team that believes creators deserve better tools.
Why We Built This
The problem is deceptively simple: you publish content to a platform, and then you can no longer easily access the original file. Platforms want you to stay in their ecosystem, so they make it deliberately inconvenient to export your own work. This affects everyone from hobbyist creators to professional agencies managing content for Fortune 500 brands.
